Full surgical and diagnostic services are available onsite including:-
Prep Area - used for preparing animals for surgery, minor, and contaminated procedures, such as dentistry.
Surgical Theatre - a dedicated operating theatre provides a clean surgical enviroment.
Anaesthesia - Safety is of paramount importance so we tailor our anaesthetic regime to each individual. Patients are carefully monitored by specially trained staff with the aid specialist equipment such as a pulseoximeter which measures the patients heart rate and oxygenation.
Radiography - our powerful machine allows us to take xrays of pets of all sizes.
Ultrasound - ultrasonogprahy is another means of imaging the body. It is minimally invasive and forms an important part of many diagnostic processes.
Endoscopy anad Bronchoscopy - fibre optic scopes allow the Vets to visualise the internal cavities of the body, such as the wind pipe and gastrointestinal tract.
ECG - electrocardiography is used in combination with radiography, ultrasonography and blood pressure measurements to evaluate and monitor cardiac cases.
Laboratory - Blood testing machines in our in-house laboratory allow us to gain vital health status information without delay. Many samples are also microscopically examined at the clinic laboratory. Close cooperation between ourselves and our chosen external laboratory extends and optimises our diagnostic capabilities.
Dentistry - state of the art dental station
Allergy Testing - intradermal skin testing facilitates the identification of specific allergens to which a patient is reacting. Such information allows us to both minimise exposure to offending substances and produce a vaccine to combat the allergy.
